Vu Condos, on George Street, spans the whole city block in between Richmond and Adelaide Streets. Built by Aspen Ridge Homes, the cosmopolitan residence is a complex of 17 townhouses and 2 high-rise towers joined together by an 8 storey podium. The towers are full of condos, 530 in total, and the podium offers loft-style units on 7 of its floors.

On the first level of the podium, double glass doors welcome you into the sleek and bright lobby designed by Cecconi Simone. An elevator ride up to the top of the podium brings you to the rooftop patio, a resort-calibur lounge with cabanas, lounge chairs and BBQ station. There’s even an area for lawn bowling.

Connected to Vu’s rooftop lounge are two party rooms, each furnished with gourmet kitchens, bars, fireplaces and plasma televisions. Other building amenities include a fully-equipping fitness centre, 24-hour security, underground parking and guest suites. Although it sounds like you’ll never have to leave the building, Vu Condos is in such a central downtown location you’ll inevitably tear yourself away to explore the nearby St. Lawrence Market and Moss Park.

From the Distillery District to the Eaton Centre, many of Toronto’s popular destinations are only a walking distance away. Venues such as the Air Canada Centre, Rogers Centre and Harbourfront are accessible by streetcar, bus or foot which makes parking at hectic events a non-issue. In the immediate area, local favourites include Café 260, a neighbourhood expresso bar, and The Richmond Rouge, a classic pub with a great menu.
