The Perfume Factory, also known as West 833, is a landmark residence in the King West neighbourhood. Part of the building is a perfume factory that was originally constructed in the 1930’s. This 3-storey Art Deco structure is recognized by the city of Toronto as a heritage building.
Interlocked with the historic perfume factory is a contemporary 7-storey addition. The buildings share a common rooftop terrace that presents great views of downtown Toronto and Stanley Park. Other amenities at 833 King Street West include parking spaces, storage units and intercom security access.
Lofts in The Perfume Factory range between 700 and 1600 sq. ft. Some of the lofts have ceilings that reach 18” high. All of the units are bright and open spaces with large windows. In total, there are 52 lofts at The Perfume Factory.
This area of Toronto is exceptionally popular for people seeking stylish homes in a dynamic neighbourhood. There are many loft developments in the area such as Westside Lofts and Sixty Loft. A large part of the King West Village appeal is its trendy restaurants, lounges, boutiques, galleries and pubs. Popular spots in The Perfume Factory’s immediate area include Cinquecentro Café, Foggy Dew Irish Pub and The Drake General Store.
Slightly removed from the downtown core, you can still walk from King Street Village to popular districts such as the Entertainment and Fashion Districts. Other neighbourhoods accessible by foot are Liberty Village, the Fashion District and Harbourfront. From right outside your front door, you can also find streetcar stops all along King Street which deliver you to the St. Andrew subway station.
