One12 St. Clair – 112 St Clair Ave West

Rather than demolish one building to put up another, the developers responsible for the condominium building at 112 St. Clair Avenue West, also known as One12 St. Clair, decided to recycle the invested capital and convert it into something new.

Page + Steele Architects, in conjunction with The Grossman and Vranich Families, altered floor plates and the building’s façade to make them more contemporary. They also added an exposed steel column and beam structure that facilitates spacious balconies that the former building didn’t have. The balconies, a true highlight of One12 St. Clair, were finished with limestone floors, butt glass railings and stainless steel flowerboxes.
