Centrally located in Toronto’s Fashion District, Glas Condos is one of my favourite soft loft buildings in the city. There are 173 units inside the glass and steel 16-storey tower, all beautifully designed by Peter Clewes of Architects Alliance. They feature exposed concrete structure, acoustic engineered walls and ceilings that reach up to 20”.
At the base of the building, there are 2-storey loft-houses with private parking garages and storage lockers. The rest of the units also have access to lockers and underground parking. Other amenities in the building include a walkout terrace with barbeques, a party room, guest suites and a concierge with a camera system entrance.
Steps from the Entertainment District and the Financial District, the location of Glas Condos can’t be beat. Its address, at 25 Oxley Street, is only slightly north of the King and Spadina intersection where you will find Fresh & Wild, a great market for gourmet groceries. In the neighbourhood, there’s something for every taste. Check out live bands at Horseshoe Tavern, dress to impress at This Is London or see a musical at The Princess of Wales Theatre.
25 Oxley Street is a safe and secure location serviced by several different transit lines. Residents at Glas Condos will be able to enjoy hassle-free commutes on the King, Queen or Spadina streetcars. The Osgoode and St. Andrew subway stations are also close by at University Avenue.
