The Chocolate Factory Lofts consists of 2 historic buildings linked together with a 3rd new building in the middle. Developed by Plazacorp in 2005, these unique hard lofts offer stunning industrial features such as wood posts, steel beams, exposed brick and barn-style doors. The windows are floor-to-ceiling and the ceilings are upwards of 11” high.
In the older part of the building, there are wood slate or corrugated steel barn-style ceilings. These lofts tend to be in higher demand than their newly constructed neighbours because they have an authentic sense of charm and character that can’t be recreated.
Combining 3 different buildings together is no simple task, but Plazacorp did an admirable job with this innovative residence. Some of their other renowned projects include the Feather Factory Lofts, 188 Redpath and Wellington on the Park. Unlike many other loft buildings, the Chocolate Factory Lofts include a few condominium-like amenities such as a 24-hour concierge, security, a fitness room and a party room. This attention to detail is one of the reasons why many of Plazacorp’s developments fit the bill for SelectCondos.ca.
